Bettie Page
Approximately 8×10, in tonal grey copic marker on vellum bristol board. This is the completed artwork for my Bettie Page Private Collection base card. The pose is photo referenced, so feel free to do a Google Search. I designed the lingerie myself, and am pretty proud of it, to be honest. Once the original line art was scanned and imported into Photoshop, I used my marker work as a guide for applying color, and chose a background design that compliments the patterns in the lingerie as best I could. The background is (I think — I completed this close to a year ago) about 4 different patterns and the base BG is pretty much a gradient I grunged and burned up a bit.
