The Vigilante

This one is best described by it’s owner, Matt West:

My sister, Allison, had been dropping some serious hints about how she wanted to be immortalized in one of Eric’s commission pieces. As a result, my wife and I asked Eric if he’d be up for representing her as a superheroine in an original commission piece for her birthday. The timing worked out that Eric was able to take a bunch of reference photos of Alli while he was here visiting during the Tulsa Comic Con a few months back, and this amazing commission piece is the result of that photo session. He totally nailed my sister’s likeness, and the costume and dark vigilante scenario that he depicts here are spot-on. Allison requested that she be featured as a superheroine in the vein of the Black Widow, Catwoman, or Black Canary, and Eric really delivered. The textural elements on her costume are beyond belief. Thanks so much, Eric, for being such a good pal and for really going the extra mile on this one. We’re thrilled with how it turned out.
